Founded in 2018, Akira Wellness carries its name from the Sanskrit word Akira, meaning “graceful strength.” It is this union of softness and resilience that guides everything we do. Wellness is not only about movement or stillness—it’s about creating space for both, and finding the balance that allows us to feel whole.
For students, Akira Wellness offers classes that are more than just shapes on a mat, they are invitations to move with intention, breathe deeply, and return home to yourself. For yoga instructors, Akira Wellness provides mentorship rooted in clarity, confidence, and purpose, so your teaching can ripple outward with authenticity and impact. For organizations, Akira Wellness brings thoughtful wellness programs into the workplace, weaving mindfulness and movement into daily culture to ease stress, strengthen focus, and nurture connection.
Akira Wellness exists as both a sanctuary and a spark - an offering of practices that honor ancient roots while meeting modern life with compassion and care. Here, you are invited to show up as you are, to grow in ways that feel sustainable, and to carry strength with grace into every corner of your life.
A welcoming space to move with intention, breathe with ease, and reconnect to yourself.
Purpose-driven mentorship to sharpen sequencing, cueing, and confidence - so your teaching truly lands and your voice is heard.
Practical wellness solutions that cultivate resilience, reduce burnout, and foster stronger teams.
